Top of the World, Henley, Oxon

A slightly different project to the normal – to create a special quiet place to indulge in the stunning views. Nestled amongst trees and at the top of a wildflower meadow the enchanting “shepherds hut” has found its resting place. The outlook is spectacular, with breath taking views over the rolling Chiltern Hills, the client simply wanted somewhere to disappear to, have some quiet time, and take this all in.

All services were discreetly taken to this location, to ensure the shepherds hut could be full furnished with all amenities, and the space immediately outside could have a sunken hot tub installed.

Internally the accommodation is basic, a sleeping, living/dining space, and a bath/shower.

From the outside the aim was to maintain a truly natural appearance.
