Feasibility

As a practice we are always keen to help clients with projects at any stage, but sometimes a project needs to actually be realised before it can commence and evolve. A feasibility study at the beginning in sketch form can be very helpful to explore a number of options to maximise the potential of a site to look to achieve the best possible outcome.

To prepare some initial sketches allows freedom and flow of ideas, and often sparks other thoughts, avenues or concepts that could be considered. Once these have progressed sufficiently enough, these form the natural progression to preparing the drawings suitable for a planning application.

Planning

All planning work is undertaken ranging from planning investigations and advice through to submissions and appeals. The practice boasts an excellent record at the planning stage which is largely due to the experience and knowledge held by its employees, but also the good relationship it holds with a handful of independent planning consultants.

These factors contribute to achieving the result we need. Another contributing factor to our success is our attention to detail and quality of drawings which we pride ourselves in. These not only further assist our clients in realising their project, but also further assist the planning department too.

Conservation

We work regularly on projects that are sited within a conservation area, and have been very successful in achieving many planning approvals. Works have included extensions to existing along with numerous private house commissions where a sensitive approach has been essential.

Listed

In more recent years we have been actively involved with Grade II* Listed properties, with works to them including major internal alterations and refurbishment, and carefully considered additions to the main structure.

Construction

From achieving planning approval we complete construction drawings for building regulation approval and for construction of the project on site along with specifications and scope of works as appropriate.

Site

In most cases we continue the process from the drawing stage through to the construction and completion of the project on site. This includes the administering of it, acting on the client’s behalf and working with the contractor, ensuring we are able to deliver the project that was realised at the early stages.

Imagery

We offer a variety of imagery for projects depending on scale and budget, which can include photomontages, sketch models, coloured drawings and perspectives.

Visualisations

Using the already prepared architectural drawings we are able to transform these into three dimensional photorealistic computer visualisations using cutting edge software. We use this tool primarily for our own projects, but also offer it to the wider market. These visuals can include sketch scheme models, street scenes, part or complete buildings and internal views.
